Here are some photos from this year’s World Worm Charming Championships, held at Willaston Primary School as part of the summer fete. 
This year, our scouts challenged members of the public to a variation of the Toxic Waste Challenge. We also made s’mores, taught lifesaving skills and our Ninja Poi display team did a stint in the main arena. Our team gave the worm charming a good go, but in the end didn’t win any prizes this time around – maybe next year!

In the last few weeks the group have attended the Worm Charming at Willaston School and the Village Fete on the Lettie Spencer Playing Fields.
A huge thank you to all of the Scouts who ran the Blind Trail at the Worm Charming and congratulations to those who were on Blue Peter.  Unfortunately I couldn’t attend but it appeared that everyone had a great day.
We had our mini camp at the Village Fete and attracted a few non-scouts to try cooking and eating bread twists.  We successfully defended our Tug of …
