Skills for Life

We help young people gain the skills they need to shine bright

Based in Willaston, between Crewe and Nantwich, we are one of the largest groups in South West Cheshire. Every week, over 100 young people, aged 6 to 14, learn new skills, take part in adventures and have fun.

Welcome to 26th South West Cheshire

Our group has grown over the years and now runs two evenings per week for each section (beavers, cubs and scouts). This growth has been possible thanks to a dedicated team of leaders and young leaders, supported by the Group Exec.

We regularly enter competitions and events at District and County level, as well as camping and other residential activities for all sections.

Being a member of our group is an exciting adventure. Young people experience new challenges, learn new skills and make lifelong friends through Scouting.

If you want to join the adventure, follow the links on this page. We welcome new beavers, cubs and scouts, as well as young leaders (14-18). Adults (over 18) who would like to share their skills as leaders or helpers are also welcome to enquire.
